I ACTUALLY BOUGHT THE VINYL VERSION OF THIS ALBUM, BUT THE TRACKS REMAIN THE SAME. THIS IS MELODIC TRANCE AT IT'S BEST, BEUTIFUL SOOTHING SOUNDS GO ALONG WITH A SIMPLE FLOWING BEAT. WITH THE EXEPTION OF 2 FASTER PACED TRACKS, WHICH ISN'T TO SAY THAT THESE WERE NOT GOOD. I DON'T THINK THIS ALBUM WOULD APPEAL TO THE FAN OF THE PULSING EURO TRANCE, BUT IF YOU LIKE GOOD MELODIES AND JUST WANT TO SIT AND CHILL TO SOME MUSIC THIS IS A MUST BUY.

This was the second album from Art of Trance aka Simon Berry. It has some tracks that you'll love straight away, and others that will take a few listens until you figure them out. Ifyou're into deep trance and not just banging stuff, i'm sure you'll like it.

Art of Trance go boldly where, well quite a few actually, have gone before. Don't get me wrong, I did enjoy this (apart from the plinky classical rip off) but its hardly ground breaking. Art of Trance do exactly what they say on the box and especially suit those wee sma hours (although missing the thunderous Cambodia). If you like this, check out Tangerine Dream : Exit and Le Parc are most similar; Ricochet (5*) and Tangram the most symphonic.
