Very good book would recommend to anyone requiring knowledge on pattern manipulation and fitting techniques. There is also a section on how to undertake garment alterations. Overall a good book for a fashion student, home dress maker or people wanting to learn more about pattern design and alteration.

The book is fine; the problem is mine since I thought I would get more information regarding alterations for clothes already being worn. I may or may not be able to use it for other information.

The book was in fine condition when I rec'd it. I didn't however realize how old the copyright was on the book. I was looking for something more current that dealt with clothing alterations rather than pattern alterations.

I was looking for a book to help me alter patterns for a better fit and this book is perfect. The pictures and descriptions make it easy to see solutions to problems with fit. Even though the book is older, the techniques remain the same and this book really describes them all.
