I bought this book due to the title 'vodka and hamsters' and I am really glad I did as it really is the funniest book I have ever read; I couldn't put the book down. The story line is fantasic and I admire the character Adele Prest. I can honestly say this is a must read to anyone with a sense of humour ,I would not reccomend this to people who take themselves to seroiusly, I have recently noticed that there is another book written by the same author titled 'Council Flats and Fiestas' which I cant wait to get my hands on as I am hoping that it will bring as much enjoyment as Vodka and Hamsters did .

This truly is the worst book I've ever set my eyes on! It was given to me as a joke present for my birthday as vodka and hamsters are 2 of my favourite things! I thought I'd give it a go but had to give up after about 40 pages. This book had obviously not been proof-read before being printed as there are numerous spelling and grammatical mistakes on every page. I also struggled to find any indication of a plot. Do not buy this book unless you have a big highlighter and want to pratise your proof-reading skills! Terrible!
