Product Description

Review

"These stories are excellent for young readers," Nicholas Tucker in The Rough Guide to Children's Books --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Product Description

When the Stone family take an Easter holiday in Romania Judy and Paul are very bored - that is until they meet a tiny vampire under a stone near Count Dracula's castle. Not only is the vampire very tiny, he is also a vegetarian with dreams of starring in horror films... Vlad persuades Judy and Paul to smuggle him back to London but the children decide to keep him a secret in case the vampire gets put in a museum or the zoo. Still a vampire left on his own all day can get terribly bored and find all kinds of mischief to pass the time. A very funny book that has stood the test of time and an entertaining look at the problems facing an outsider. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

Vlad The Drac 21 Mar 2012
By J. Swan
Format:Paperback
I have read this book countless times to my class and they always want more! It is lovely that there are others in the series so I can recommend that they read those too :) Never, ever fails to please and the children love joining in with those little repetitions that the story provides :)

A must in any KS2 classroom - and maybe even the little ones too if they enjoy a longer read :)

Vlad the Drac is written by Ann Jungman. It is about a troublesome vampire called Vlad the Drac. The characters are Paul,Judy, Mum, Dad and Vlad the Drac.Paul and Judy found Vlad the Drac under a stone in Romania. Judy and Paul brought Vlad the Drac home in London. In London Vlad the Drac gets Dad nearly arrested because his was naughty at the football stadium. Vlad the Drac does other naughty things. In star rating it is 5/5. Usually vampire stories are meant to be scary but Vlad the Drac is very funny. Everyone should read it.
