I bought one of these for my mum and then went back and bought one for me, as a "second" camera.
For your lolly you get the camera, wrist strap, a wee case, batteries, software, USB and TV cables and a REAL book camera manual (also on PDF).
The camera feels quite solid, the 2.4" display is good. The menu system on it is the best I've seen - this is my third digicam, the previous two are Olympuses and were way much more expensive than this. The first batch of pictures out of it are all very sharp and clear too - you get much better results setting it to P and tweaking white balance, exposure compensation etc.
So far, so good.
Update. Yes it eats batteries. So buy some NiMH ones like everyone else. Two of them will *easily* last a day plus two spare. Recharge at night for the next day. Sorted. ALL digicams are like this! (Unless they come with Lithium Ion batteries but actually NiMH AA's are handier)
