The camera does what I wanted it to do. Underwater it takes reasonable pics & videos but you have to get quite close to the subject due to the small lens. On land it is ok in good light but the flash is too powerful for the lens. The screen is difficult to see in bright light. On the plus side it is easier to use while swimming than cameras in waterproof cases, but unlike those it does not float! Overall for the price it does a decent job. Very good for holidays, not just for underwater use but handy for trips where getting wet is likely (Speedboats etc).
