A Kid's Review
This is a neat little camcorder, but extremely light-weight and flimsy in construction, and the card slot looks as if it might break at any moment. The photograph in the advert is misleading - it looks as if it is solid metal, but in fact it is plastic, almost toy-like in contruction. Would be fine for a child, but adults would probably want something more solid. Plenty of gimmicks to choose from, but the resulting images are very grainy and out of focus. Despite the image stabiliser this camera is very difficult to hold steady, and setting it on HD appears to make no difference whatsoever to the image quality. Batteries (3xAAA) run out very rapidly. For the money this is OK, but if you want image quality, then look elsewhere.

Good value for money 17 Dec 2010
This arrived safely and was well packed for safety. It performs well (within its limitations) and produces good images. The HD is not quite as clear as I would have expected, and the camera is somewhat difficult to hold steady, despite the image stabilising feature. But for the money it is a very good buy, and will no doubt provide much pleasure over the Christmas holidays.

Well, this broke within a few days of use. The make is poor, wouldnt recommend to anyone. Buy a different, more efficient and better made product. Wont be purchasing vivitar branded merchandise in the future.
