My daughter loves this and has played with it for over a year. She packs it in her dolls changebag as she loves copying Mummy.
I don't think the phone is too quiet when it's held up to the ear. It it was louder it would cause damage and you can clearly hear what each character is saying.
Has been dropped on the floor several times and has even been sicked on and still works so very good durability

I would be very cautious about this toy, before you take the tab out of the back the sound is great, once you take it out you can hardly hear fifi, my daughter got bored very quickly.
