Recently I celebrated my 29th Birthday away with some friends by the coast. One absent friend passed on this game/toy to another as a present for me giving me instructions to 'make sure I used it' with the excellent weather we were having at the time.
As soon as I unwrapped it I recognised the toy from when I was a young boy and remembered having hours of fun with my Dad thrusting the rugby ball shaped object between us through the means of two long lenghts of string with handles at either end. This is a game for two people and the idea of the game was for one member to open his/her arms quick enough to send the 'ball' shooting towards the opponent. The opponent had his/her hands together and as the 'ball' approached just before the 'ball' would hit their handles they too would open up their arms and return the 'ball' back to the other person and so on. It was a very simple game but I promise you - timeless fun!
Now this is the twist and the good part because this new re-invented version of the game now has water balloons included! You can basically split the 'ball' into two and place a water balloon inside the ball capturing the water balloon safely. Now when you play the game when the 'ball' eventually hits the handles (and it will as your arms begin to tire) the balloon bursts resulting in you getting wet!!
Water games are great when its hot and even funnier when its cold in my opinion.
There are 75 balloons included with this game so it will take a while to run out and even when you do you can pick them up in most toy/corner shops too.
Low maintenance - no batteries required, just water and people who like a giggle - this game will crack you up I promise you!!
