Product Description

Truly amazing - Vitamix is so much more than just a blender, tackling 50 kitchen tasks in one machine. The only appliance in the world that can make both ice cream in 30 seconds and soup from scratch in 5 minutes. And, its results will seriously wow you...

It works quickly so nutrients are retained - unlike a juice extractor, it blends fruit & veg into fibre-rich, whole food juice in just one minute.

Cooks hot soup from scratch in under 5 minutes without chopping and peeling veg first - whole carrots and peppers can go in - seeds and all.

Almost instantly dices, chops or blends ingredients into salsas, dips and sauces - making everything from hummus and nacho sauce to peanut butter.

Makes fresh, home-made ice cream or frozen yoghurts and desserts in an amazing 30 seconds just by adding ice or frozen fruit. The blade action creates a larger frozen surface, so freezing happens almost instantly - there's no time for the ingredients to melt!

Unlike conventional blenders, it smashes through ice cubes in seconds - perfect for smoothies and margaritas.

Grinds wet or dry ingredients - coffee beans can be ground in as little as 10 seconds.

The friction from the incredibly quick motor does all the work - there's no heating element - the longer the 1200W motor is running, the hotter it cooks. Five minutes is all it takes to turn uncut, unpeeled veg into fresh, piping hot soup, ready to serve. Why have ready made? It would take longer than that to open a tin and reheat it in the microwave!

Blend, dry chop, wet chop, make frozen treats, heat, grind, knead, (making bread with the addition of the Dry Container), emulsify... tackling over 50 different tasks with variable speed settings, you'll be simply astounded by Vitamix. And, after all that - it's really easy to clean. Just half-fill with soapy water, switch on, then rinse the jug with clean water.

18.5 x 22 x 44cm H. (7¼" x 8¾" x 17¼"). 1200W. 1.4 litre.

It makes the smoothest smoothies, delicious ice cream and piping hot soup. Getting it second hand was great too as you get all the quality, but pay a bit less. Often, people buy these machines but discover that they can't make them fit into their lives, so keep a look out for "hardly used" bargains

I have been using this for quite a while now. Before I bought this, I had to force myself to remember to eat fruit etc. The wife really wanted to get a juicer/smoothie maker and we trawled amazon reading the reviews of various makes and model. The prices ranged from £50 all the way up to £600 in some cases.

But our criteria was build quality, reliability, performance and price. The more we looked at the lower end ie £100 - £150 of various smoothie makers, the reviews were not so great and some seemed to not last.

So, we came across this model and thought it was too pricey for us but the more we read about it, and the lack of any bad review we agreed that you get what you pay for and this case you really do get what you pay for!

We have smoothies 3 - 4 times a week after dinner as 'desert' so no more ice cream and fatty puddings! But talking about ice cream, I recently made a banana ice cream from bananas, some milk and ice cubes. Whizzed through the vitamix and it was absolutely lush!

I have been recommending this to friends. Some have bought it and love it! Go on! Don't be shy, give it a try!

After deliberating for several years as to whether or not to invest this larger amount of cash into a blender, I finally decided to go for it when I saw the Aspire.
Really thrilled, it is super speedy for all blending activities and great for raw food lifestlye.
Very noisy but doesn't need to be on for long.

It is an expensive kit, but definitely worth the money! It is easy to use and easy to clean up afterwards.

It took some persuading the wife to let me spend £400 on a blender but I'm really pleased I did! Makes great soup, smoothies etc. really feels built to last and clean up is easy - especially compared to my juicer. I would buy again without hesitation

1st week made-mushroom soup, potato & leek soup, frothy coffee, smoothie using all sorts of fruit with yoghurt & fresh orange juice. All were delicious & it did what it advertised. I buy a lot of fruit & veg & the Vitamix will avoid waste. I think it is worth spending almost £400 & the 5 year guarantee is a bonus. I' d actually run out of my, usually , shop bought fruit juice when it was delivered & found my orange juice made with peeled segments & water tasted better. I can't think of anything negative other than, despite washing in hot water & Fairy liquid the rubber lid still smells slightly of leeks, although it didn't affect the fruit juice. Hopefully this will fade over time.

Transformed my life.. this machine is worth every penny. Its powerful beyond any other machine, and its really quick and easy to clean and use. Try Mango frozen, coconut milk, coconut, lime and mint.. wazz it up and freeze it for a bit, or stick ice cubes in.. yum
