I bought this bowl after reading the good reviews, as I was frustrated by my growing cupboard of bowls, none of which stuck to the high chair. This item arrived v quickly and was packaged appropriately. The first one I received did not work at all - i could not seperate the bowl from the base. I contacted the vital baby people and they were v obliging and sent me another one the next day. The new one arrived and I could detatch this one and set it up but I have to say that I am disappointed with it. It is great on the ocassions that it sticks - I can happily eat my meal as my daughter eats hers....however, more often than not, before the meal is finished, the bowl has been flung across the floor when the suction has just stopped working for some reason. So, on the days when I think 'i will give it another go' I do......and hope that it lasts the meal out. On other days, I find myself holding a bowl or just putting it on the high chair table, thinking to myself 'i'll give her a bowl when she is old enough not to fling it around!'

I bought this bowl for my Grandaughter because she is at the stage of throwing her bowl off her high chair tray. This has stopped and she is very happy to eat her food out of it. She only once managed to get the bowl off the base but my daughter thinks she may not have clicked it in place properly.

Bought this for my then 9 month old daughter who insists on feeding herself! I wanted to get her a dish rather than putting it on the tray of the highchair all the time.Unfortunately she pulled it off the first time she used it!!! I contacted the manufacturer and they were very helpful and sent me out another one but informed me that it had to go on a scratch-free,smooth surface.Whilst my highchair is clean and fairly smooth it has the odd scratch but I do not recall it saying this on the packaging.
My daughter does pull it off from time to time when it's not sticking properly but on the whole it stays in place and I did buy the twin pack so I can change the dishes over during mealtimes.
It is a good purchase but be prepared for it to come off sometimes!

Absolutely rubbish!

Incredi-bowl

Not for Ikea highchair
The suction base doesn't work at all for our Ikea highchair. The table surface is not 100% smooth but I didn't know the suction base requires it strictly.
