After breastfeeding for just over a year, my baby would not take the bottle when I introduced it at such a late stage. She copied us drinking out of straws - at first found this cup tricky, so I simply let her practice with normal straws for about a week until she got the hang of it. Then I put a straw in the vital baby cup; once she was comfortable with that, I simply switched to the cup straw and that was it. I can comfortably leave her to help herself to a drink whenever she wants now. The cup does leak a little, but its hardly anything worth worrying about. The cup is so easy to take apart and clean, and is also quite sturdy at the same time, so I have a feeling it will last a very long time. The only negative I would say, is that when there is not much fluid left in the cup, baby may need assistance getting the drink out if the cup is being tilted slightly; ie when out and about in the buggy etc. But I still give it 5 stars because that is not a fault of the product, it is simply the fact that that is to be expected with a straw!

This is a bright, very good quality cup. My daughter has been using it for 2 months now. She loves drinking water from it and now at 11 months is able to lift and hold onto it herself with no issue. The straw bypasses the issue with having your baby tilt their head back in order to drink whilst trying to hold onto the cup, which most other sippy cups/ beakers present. It is also a nice size (10oz) and the the lid is removable, but also fits tightly, so handy for trips out. The cup does leak few drops when tipped upside down, but not an issue really.

This item is lovely and bright! It doesn't leak like lots of my daughters other beakers do. Only problem is you have to suck very hard on the straw. I've taken it out and beaker fine. X
