I bought a set of these bowls when my daughter started weaning, along with a set of Vital Baby Soft Tip Weaning Spoons (Pink, 5-Pack)
. I chose Vital Baby products as they're BPA, Latex and PVC-free. The bowls are also dishwasher and microwave-friendly, which makes life easier.
On the whole, the bowls are well-designed. They have a soft rubber rim on the bottom, so that they don't slip around too much and a helpful 'handle' along one edge; they are a good size for smaller portions and snacks, and they stack nicely away. I have found that they get a bit discoloured if you're heating tomato sauces in them, and the surface of the plastic has been a bit marked by heating cheesy dishes (risotto, lasagne, etc.) in the microwave. They're also a bit of an odd shape if you want to cover them to store things in the fridge (round dishes work better).
We used these feeding bowls mainly at the start of weaning, and still use them for snacks. When my daughter started using cutlery in earnest, we switched to using a larger bowl for main meals.
