Gamers should not be rating this any higher than one star as it's a total rip off. Sony should bundle a memory card with the system like Nintendo done with 3DS. This is just another way to nickel and dime people. This is what Microsoft done with the xbox 360, only allowed people to use their overly expensive hard drives with the system for many years. It's a slap in the face to gamers and just more proof these game companies don't give a damn about gamers, just profits.
People buy a Vita for £200, and are then expected to find another £30 for a 8GB memory card before they've even bought a game, it's SHOCKING. 8GB memory cards can be bought for as little as £5 on amazon, but Sony Vita card cost nearly £30. For no reason at all other than pure greed.
Sure the Vita is a nice system and is worth the money, but the price of these memory cards is disgraceful

Like everybody has already said, to have a memory card is "essential", but once again, SONY insists on ripping-off its customers. They should include this as standard when you buy your Vita. Shame on you SONY!

Does the job
It does what you need it to. It saves games and saves and works how you would expect it to. If you can pick it up in a bundle then you have a bargain
