Turns out I have Conjunctivitis (allergy one), Blepheritus and Dry eye syndrome. Lastly when I sleep I apparently do so with my eyelids open ever so slightly but enough in that they can further dry out being exposed to the air. Since then I have used a multitude of products with this one forming a key part of my arsenal along with Blephasol and the MGDRx Eye Bag for Blepharitis
The ointment is very thick and does blur your vision so for that reason I suggest you use it at night. As part of my routine I generally put this in the lower eyelid and let to settle for a few moments. I follow this up with using a blepahsol which to clean the eyelids. This has the benefit of A) removing any excess Vita-pos which can leave a very clear sheen on your eyes, and the messaging motion of the cotton pad with the solution on typically warms up the Vita-pos making it smooth all over your eye.
In all its a great product and one that I highly recommend if conditions get bad and for night time use.Read more ›
It is extremely useful for puffy, itchy and scaly eyelids and suitable for very sensitive skin. I use it instead of my regular eye-cream.
