Sometimes you can feel the atmosphere on recordings, be it cold or dark, moody, this however takes you right to the heart of the dark continent,and brother is it HOT. It brings the tribal rythyms of Dakar along the West coast down to Bissau, bringing the influences of the east coast with its guitar driven melodies. Its live its real its recorded on the dark continent,superb percussion based album that will bring the sun to anywhere you play it, go find the heat!

ALERT! NOT a Blackmore's Night CD, it is "Alan Blackmore"

As the heading says, this is NOT an album by Blackmore's Night. It is by someone named Alan Blackmore. I have not heard the album, so I'm giving it a "4" just not to slam it unheard. (you have to give it "some" rating, even to post an alert.) This is just a caution for those other fans of Richie and Candace Night not to get this album if they expect to hear either of THEM on this CD.
