Book Description

1 Oct 2013
Visions had by orphaned beggar boys in China during a revival in the early 20th century. The Bakers started Adullam Rescue Mission for street children in Yunnan Province, China. The children in the home, mostly boys aged from six to eighteen, had a revival during which they had visions of heaven, Paradise, angels, and even hell. The children also had visions of the Antichrist, the Rapture, Resurrection, and Day of Judgment. H. A. Baker worked for years with little fruit and he almost gave up, until the Holy Spirit came with power, but he never put the spiritual above the Word and searched the Scriptures to make sure what was happening agreed with the Bible. This is reflected in his books as he includes Scripture references in most chapters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read 7 Jun 2007
By K. Vass
Format:Paperback
I borrowed this book from a friend and I have to say that I enjoyed it so much that I am going to buy a copy so I can read it again. It gives a well written account of visions given to Chinese orphan children by the Holy Spirit of the New Jerusalem, Hell, Angels etc. I could hardly put the book down once I started. A must read for Christians and non-Christians.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing 20 Mar 2010
By paul kilpatrick VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback
From the other reviews I expected this book to be something special - and it is! Read it and you will be profoundly affected. I could not put it down . Everyone should have to read this book, if only to be aware that such things may exist or be possible. This book could change the whole way you think about life and faith.

5.0 out of 5 stars Visions beyond the veil 22 Jan 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
An amazing story telling how totally unchurched Chinese children were taught in a visitation to heaven about the teaching of the bible , which they then preached even though many could not even read. As a result many others were led to a relationship with Jesus Christ

By thanks
Format:Paperback
this is a must-read. When the time is right for you personally and you want to know about heaven, (nobody wants to know about hell) then reach for this book. This is not a book to land on someone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Heaven is real, and for us to choose 4 Dec 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
H. A. Baker ran a Rescue Home for little street children in China. He brought them up to know about Jesus and some chose to follow Him. Baker worked for years without much result, until God showed up in power. Children turned from their sins to follow Jesus, and were rewarded with Heavenly visions and prophecies. They went to Heaven, and saw Hell, and saw what will happen at the end of this Age, at Jesus' return, and what will happen in Heaven subsequently.

The whole book shows us how wonderful Heaven is; and that there is no alternative to be considered. I am so thankful that in the last chapter, Baker tells us how we may accept Jesus, so we, too, may share Paradise with Him and God forever.

A very easy read; and a must read for everyone. We need to choose Jesus.

A remarkable, challenging and inspirational book, which gave much food for thought. If God can work in such a way with those children what can he do in me?

The service i received was excellent. However the book itself was disappointing .I found it s discriptions and stories dated and boring although what happened to and through the children was good stuff.
