“Lucia Capacchione’s workshop was a powerful tool on my healing journey. She shares her insights and gives you the opportunity to heal your relationship with your inner child. Go for it!”
Louise Hay, You Can Heal Your Life
10 Steps to Designing the Life of Your Dreams
Visioning is a guide to using practical work to help visualise what you really want out of life.
Tapping into your creative side, Lucia Capacchione uses the art of collaging to create a visual image of your dreams and desires. The book is a ten step guide to designing and actualizing these dreams.
As well as teaching essential techniques to tap into your Creative Self, she looks at Designing and Visualizing: how thoughts become action. She also tackles the self doubt which often arises when people see themselves as uncreative or unartistic.
The 10 Step Programme:
1. Make a Wish/ Find a Dream
2. Research
3. Refine the selection
4. Prepare the composition
5. Create the collage
6. Interpret the meanings
7. Making it happen
8. Relax and let go
9. Seeking support
10. Celebrate!

This book outlines a process for choosing your goals and then creating collages from magazine pictures or slogans to symbolise what you want. For people (like myself) who can neither draw well nor visualise such collages provide both good reminders about goals and create compelling images to help motivate yourself to achieve them.
The technique does not offer any panacea or "instant pudding" way to achieve your goals but makes them more real - rather than just being a passive consumer of mediated images you are advertising in your own mind...
The book is so inexpensive it is a no-brainer to buy and well worth five stars - the only improvement I would like to see in a future edition would be more examples of collages.
