This is a perfectly good product. I bought this to help my visual
loss. I have macular degeneration and have limited central vision. Although it is very good value for money I returned the monocular because it did not focus close enough for my purposes. It focusses from about 10 yards to infinity and is exceptional value and quality for normal purposes. I have bought another monocular from a low vision specialist but have had to pay very much more for one that focuses from 14 inches to infinity. I still recommend this cheaper one . . . Excellent value for the price. Go for it !

This monocular is rugged, easy to focus and has decent magnification. Most importantly it really fits in my jeans pocket!

I ordered the monocular on Wednesday night received it Friday what can I say 'spot on' due to amazon's highly efficient service.

On opening the package, I was impressed with the quality case. As it was a dull wet afternoon I thought it ideal to test the monocular. I chose the fields and countryside from the bedroom window and with minimum adjustment I had a sharp image and the amount of light passing through the optic was clear and bright even the furthest point on the horizon a church steeple was clear and sharp despite the distance and low cloud.

I know we have different eyes etc but I found it better to close my right eye, which helped immensely. The optic is light and compact and for something at this price it is ideal to take on a country walk or the seaside to wear on the belt or carry in a pocket.

well worth it for what it is a handy optic to carry with you if you don't fancy wearing conventional binoculars around the neck or carrying the bulky case

Took this on safari in Africa and it did exactly what we wanted. We had binoculars and a camera and wanted a spare method of magnification to use so that we could both view the same thing, fits in the pocket nicely and I was able to focus it to give a clear view of animals at a distance. For the money I have no complaints.

This is a small product and never claims to be an amazing or a super-powerful device. On balance then, I use this little magnifier to confirm a distant object rather than search avidly for it. Its got quite a small field of view compared to my binocs - but it does fit inside my coat pocket without distorting the shape of the pocket or getting in the way. It's light and handy for those too-often times when you just want a better view of a bit of wildlife that you are walking past or is in the middle distance because its gone past you. Nice for the casually interested but inadequate for any deeper level of enthusiasm.

I'm very impressed so far by this product. It's much handier than carrying bulky binoculars around, and it has a crisp, clear image. Also, as a wearer of glasses, I've always found binoculars tricky. This is great for me, as I can just press it against my glasses, close the other eye, and view.

I'd heartily recommend it for birders, opera lovers and general people watchers everywhere...
