Great way to keep the cage clean. I simply wipe the liner each night with a damp cloth to clean it and it looks like new. I would say each will last approx. 3 weeks before I need to replace it. They are a waxed thick cardboard so I do prevent them from getting wet or they will bubble. I have a Hagen Vision Cage L01 and they fit perfectly.
I normally have a few in stock so I don't run out.

Saves soooooo much time and effort! 2 Mar 2013

I love these, and I absolutely do not consider them unreasonably expensive. They wipe clean, can be disinfected with a light spray, and then reused I imagine many times. My bird prefers the surface to exposed wire - and since it eliminates the need to EVER have to scrub wire, I don't know why you wouldn't put it on top. To those who complain that they warp when they get wet...well yeah, they are essentially stiff, smooth paper. Let birds bathe outside the cage, or put a small washcloth under the bath if they simply must do it inside...
Update: I now have two birds, and I wondered if double the waste, and double the frequency of cleaning would change my opinion of these liners. In a word, NOoOOOOOoOO. They are now even more wonderful. At least every two days, I lift the top off, and pull the liner out. A quick scrape with a plastic putty knife (10 cents), and a wipe with vinegar, and the cage is clean until next time. Sometimes, I need to scrub a little to get stubborn waste cleaned. They last AT LEAST a month. At that point, the coating has begun to wear away a bit, and the scrubbing is more necessary. $10.00 for a two month supply of cage liner, that cleans easily, that is pleasing to the eye, and that I don't have to tediously cut to fit? Yes please!

Don't buy this, it's just cheap cardboard ! 5 May 2012

All the Vision Bird Cage products appear to be good quality but this.
I bought 2 cages and extra perches and like both.
I also bought this bird cage paper and for over 7 dollars.
It is the same card board the shipping box for the cage is made of.
It lasted for a week and was coming apart from water from the birds taking baths.
I got some plastic contact paper, the heavier stuff for sink cabinet bottom, and cut it to fit.

Nice idea ... but is it reusable? 5 May 2013

I like the idea of having an attractive, reusable cage liner that's cut to fit the bottom of the cage. This product almost fits the bill. It looks better than newspaper (to me, I'm not sure the bird cares) and it fits the bottom of the cage well. However, reuse is questionable to me, especially since the manufacturer doesn't provide any guidance about it. For example:

- How should this paper be cleaned?
- What are the rules of thumb for how many days it can be reused?
- Should it be thrown away if it gets wet?

To be clear, neither the product packaging nor the manufacturer's website says this paper can be cleaned or reused. Instead, I've only seen the "rinse and reuse" statement on sites that sell it. Whatever the case, rinsing seems impractical to me since this paper is just a piece of cardboard with an image printed on it. An accidental spill showed me that the cardboard can warp when it dries out. More importantly, I don't know how much bacteria builds up in it after it gets water on it

The bottom line is that this paper might a good choice for people who don't feel they'll get the paper wet. That's not me. Instead, I gave it three stars because I could use it as a pattern to make my own 'reusable' paper out of old pillow shams. (They're reusable because I can remove most solid debris with a hand broom and then throw it in the washer with a load of towels.)

Nice product, but way over priced 9 Aug 2013

It's not paper, but a waxed coated cardboard. There is an outdoor type of design on it that looks nice, but seeing as it has to be replaced pretty regularly, it is very costly. I bought two packs - I'm using the second as a template for newspaper that I will put over the liners to make them last longer. Not as pretty, but not as costly. And with what I'm reading in the news lately, it's appropriate what my birds will be doing to it. :-)

Not quite paper, more like board 8 Jan 2014

About 1/8" thick. After I received the product I find it overpriced so I am not reordering this. I'll look for another alternative or go back to cutting my own out of cardboard.
