Recorded in 1991, probably in Montreal (which is where I stumbled across and bought my copy), the band comprised Lorraine Desmarais (piano & keyboards), Michel Cesson (electric & acoustic guitars), Michel Donato (electric & acoustic bass) and Paul Brochu (drums). Jean Pierre Zanella guests on tenor sax on a couple of tracks.
I'm not quite sure what to say about it really ~ it's just a fresh, competent and moderately jazzy set of nine French-flavoured original instrumentals, produced by Ms. Desmarais and Serge LeBoeuf, recorded and mixed by Claude Champagne and mastered by some fellow called Bill Kipper.
Though this isn't one of the greatest albums in my collection, I still play and enjoy it every couple of months or so after all these years. If you can find where to sample it, you may just find the effort to be worthwhile.
