This was a fairly good read, but is in need of proofreading. Two faced, not too faced. Miss use of your. I would still like to read the next book though.

Although on the surface this seems to be just another zombie apocalypse story, it has a quality that sets it apart from others in the genre.
It is charmingly told from the perspective of a typical "modern day girl", in whom many of us will instantly recognise the traits of our friends, sisters or co-workers. Through the eyes of an average person, rather than the usual gun-slinging super-human hero commonly found in this genre, the tale becomes more relatable to an audience who might not usually find entertainment in zombie fiction. The descriptions of characters and settings are refreshingly unromanticised, adding to the no-nonsense, down-to-earth tone of the book.
There are a few inaccurate embellishments made on the factual basis of the story. However, if you are willing to suspend your disbelief, you will find an entertaining and engaging read in this book.

I picked this book as I had finished my Stephen king novel doctor sleep. It looked good from the reviews. From the beginning I was glued to the end. Gutted about the ending but can't wait for book 2. I would recommend to a friend or family member.

A bit slow to start but worth persevering with, the characters are well drawn and the story is interesting. It's different because it is set in England which makes a change.

Huge zombie fan, loved this as from the same areas mentioned, could see the "lost boys" typical Stockport chavs! Cannot wait for the next instalment!

I got this book free ans was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Have read a lot of these types of books and it was refreshing to have it centred in England.

Sorry but I guess just not my sort of book. Lots of typos and I m afraid I thought immature writing style and frankly twaddle. I hate to be negative but have to be honest

Love the concept of a modern girl ditching her usual priorities to survive the aftermath of a deadly virus..... Can't wait for volume two!

Awful - there are primary school children who have a better understanding of basic spelling and grammar. This should never have been published.
