Product Description

Kimberley has spent the better part of her adult life stuck in a dead-end marriage and a dead-end job. Now she’s in her forties, she’s single and her life is an endless cycle of mundane chores.
Encouraged by success stories from people at work, she joins a dating chat room. Online, she isn’t a shy, lonely and depressed 40-something; she’s SeattlesAnswerToBradshaw, a sexy, confident and flirty woman with an army of admirers.

Kimberley’s new persona encourages her to ditch her old self, to hit the gym and reinvent her image and her lifestyle. But there is an even bigger change and a bigger surprise waiting around the corner and — just like her new body, her new confidence and her new style — Kimberley never saw it coming.

Virtually Me is a light-hearted, romantic comedy about a single mom searching for true love.

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny and enjoyable 24 Feb 2014

Internet dating is not such a bad idea for Kimberly, a forty year old single mother of three who was out of the dating scene for more than ten years after her divorce. But who is the mysterious man whom she is chatting to for a whole year before having the courage to meet him in person? Virtually Me: A Romantic Comedy delivers what promises from the title. The book is packed with funny scenes, girly chit-chats, family drama and love stories. It is enjoyable to read and it is written as if you are watching a movie which to me it is always a positive point.

5.0 out of 5 stars From strength to strength in 25 chapters 24 Feb 2014
By Teodora T. - Published on Amazon.com

Virtually Me: A Romantic Comedy is the story of a forty year old woman who starts her journey as an overweight, self-conscious, divorced mother of three looking for love. After setting up a profile on an Internet dating site, something clicked within, bringing her a long needed change both on the outside and in. Not only Kimberly lost weight and took care of her appearance but she also started to enjoy life more, proving that life does start at forty. After a bungee-jumping session, a big step towards a career change and two brief relationships, will she find the one to grow old with?

5.0 out of 5 stars A grea book for all moms out there!!! 20 Feb 2014

A delight from the first line! Just as the main character, Kimberly, I left all laundry and dishes away and spend an entire afternoon reading this wonderful romantic comedy! I will tell you only this about the story line: is about a middle aged woman, divorced and with 3 children who starts her own adventure online. The twist that makes this story so captivating is that she actually discovers love was in front all along. Well-written, sexy, funny and with a romantic je ne sais quoi….don‘t miss it!

1.0 out of 5 stars Sorry but I wasn't a fan 10 Jun 2014

First of all, the grammar is terrible. There are several inconsistencies in the story. And one of the worst things about it is that it's supposed to be set in Seattle, however the author doesn't seem to know much about how people speak in America because most of the dialogue uses British lingo and sayings. I could not take this book seriously for many reasons. It was just poorly written.
