About the Author
Sally Anne Morris has taught psychology for over a decade, but before that she supported herself through university by working as a civil servant, van driver, crossing warden, farm hand and waiting tables in a casino. She now enjoys writing, lying on the sofa and watching re-runs of Quincy.

I'm always wary of a writers second novel. I needn't of been though Vintage magic is a great piece of work.
Not the sequel I was hoping for but another excellently woven tale with real touches of "magic" from the author. the book takes you from the real world to some fantastical places but ends up bringing you home with a very satisfying and unforeseen ending.
I would heartily recommend!

The cover was the first thing that caught my eye, then the write up was quite interesting so I gave it a go. I love anything with magic, baking, dressmaking, girlie stuff etc. This story starts off promising, even though I wouldn't say it's high on delights of literacy. But as the story begins to edge towards the ending, it goes REALLY WEIRD!!! I mean, mystical creatures, parallel universes - so in my humble opinion I would have to say I found it a disappointing ending, with a mediocre beginning and middle.

Another good read from this new author which is both entertaining and quirky.The believable characters draw you into this very British story of magic, clothes and relationships.
