Product Description

The 2011 British year set contains eight coins issued for circulation in 2011, namely: the two pound coin, the one pound coin, fifty pence, twenty pence, ten pence, five pence, two pence and one pence. KM Ref 994 and 1107 to 1113 inclusive. The 2011 £2 coin is the normal bimetallic coin which has been issued each year since it was first issued in 1997. The other coins are of the new reverse design type - first issued in 2008 - based on the heraldic shield. The obverse design of each coin shows the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The display and case are in New/Mint condition and the coins are in BU (Brilliant Uncirculation) condition. Our manufacturing process includes a precision laser cutting method to create the necessary holes in each display for the required coins to be inserted and held, safely recessed, in the correct position.
