Was as advertised, and good to start building up the cantina collection. Still plenty to save up for, but a start!

Bom Vimdin might not be a household name like other cantina patrons like Han Solo, Greedo or even Ponda Baba. But this figure beats them all out in terms of how cool he looks. Finally, he gets a well deserved adaptation by Hasbro. The details are all dead on, and the articulation is great. I minor gripe might be he ball jointed neck though it moves in most directions it still feels limited due to the shortness of his neck pane height of his collar.

Hasbro have been known for using the same figures from previous lines. This one however stood out for me, one for the sellers price and that Hasbro have decided to focus on the minor characters off the Star Wars universe.

The figure dispays well next to the like of Sandtroopers and various Bounty hunters. Seen as my collection is based around the villians of Star Wars he is a nice addition to the lot.

Bom Vimdin, the figure has two weapons, the Blaster and the Blaster Rifle and seen as he is from the Cantina he also has his cup. Bear in mind these are tiny. As per usual with Hasbro he has a holster for the Blaster and the Rifle is attached to a soft plastic sling.

The head sculpt, along with his body is detailed better than most. The waist coat has small spikes patterned across, his eyes even have eyelids. The detail is no issue here.

To anyone having thoughts on buying this figure, the price is cheap and with other stores selling these for almost triple off that on here, why not?

One of the best cantina aliens 8 Jun. 2011

Everybody knows that the Cantina aliens are some of the most popular Star Wars figures. Bom Vimdin is one of the best of the lot. The first Vintage Cantina alien, the level of detail on this guy is amazing. The jacket and utilities look like actual articles of clothing. The face looks a hundred times more realistic than the actual mask used in the movie. The figure is fully articulated, but all the joints are so well hidden even experienced collectors will hardly notice them. Even the weapons, which I was worried about because they weren't in the movie, are superbly done and actually look like they might have come from the figure. I can't rave about this guy enough - it's close to the level of the VIntage Gamorrean Guard figure.
