Product Description

THE AMAZON.COM SCIENCE FICTION BESTSELLER FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE #1 AMAZON SCI-FI BESTSELLER, ALICE IN DEADLAND!

To be published in paperback by Penguin Young Adult in India, April 2012

'Gods' fought a terrible war in our skies 15,000 years ago. They have returned to finish it.

Ancient texts refer to 'Gods' flying in craft called vimanas and waging war with what sound like nuclear weapons. These accounts are today classified as myth or legend.

What if they turned out to be real?

Vimana is an edge-of your seat sci-fi technothriller about a young college student who stumbles upon an ancient war between good and evil. A war that we thought was merely a part of our ancient myths and legends, but unknown to us, is still being waged everyday in our skies. As the forces of darkness conspire to unleash worldwide devastation to coincide with the End Times prophecies in 2012, he discovers his hidden destiny is to join the forces of light in bringing this war to a conclusion. At stake will be the continued existence of the human race.

Star Wars meets Transformers in this exciting new thriller that will keep all science fiction fans satisfied.

Difficult to read 16 Jan 2012

I really tried to read this book but found that the page lay-out was distracting. For some reason every other sentence was double-spaced. Who proof read or approved this lay out? Disappointing, it may have been a good story, but it is a slow start and with this added distraction I just couldn't be bothered with it. Clearly there are better things to read on a kindle.

A modern day "Biggles" with an Indian sub-continent theme involving aliens mascarading as gods and devils. O.K for teenagers but not really up to the mark as a Science Fiction master. Easy to read but naieve.

Bollywood scfi 13 Feb 2012

Boolywood meets stargate, with aliens being the recognised indian gods. Intermingled with other religious concepts such as one their fallen members being the devil and trying to explain away the Burmuda triangle in the meantime. The different fractions fighting to either enslave mankind or save it.

It did not work for me hence only a 3.
