Stylish and nice BUT don't buy with party plate! 26 May 2009

I bought the following mug along with party plate Villeroy and Boch Café party plate small - 17cm x 13 cm - White, and it does not fit at all into the gap in the plate. On a review for the larger mugs Villeroy and Boch Café Right Handed XL Mug 0.35ltr - White I noticed they said it fit for the larger mugs but not for the smaller ones. It can't even balance in the crevice! So if you're planning on going for a nice mug and saucer (plate) set, do not go for these mugs!!

Otherwise the mug is lovely, the handle fits very comfortably in hand (much better than you'd imagine from the pic) although the level of drink in the mug is a bit deceiving (due to the varying height of the sides) so there have been a couple of spills.

This Cup is a perfect compliment to the Villeroy Boch Tea Plate and the finish is as good as you good expect from this mamufacturer

I just love the Villeroy and Boch Wave pattern cups. I think they are pretty stylish. I now have a full set of cups and party plates which I have collected a few pieces at a time to ofset the cost.
