Hello,
Please let me start by writing,this is an absolute brilliant piece of kitchenware,it does all that is required and then more.It is one of the few items,that I was able to purchase cheaper from a different site other than amazon.247electrical.co.uk is selling this item for £129,with free post,so its up to amazon to match the price.So back to the blender,as is stated it is die cast,what this means is that the base is heavy which makes it very stable on your work surface.It comes with a three year warranty,1000w variable speed setting,everything on this blender fits really well.The two litre jug is capable of being thermal shock resistant,which is great for being able to take from the fridge to the kettle without fear of it shattering.Just one last thing to say about this quality piece of kit,sure its a brill blender,but its also superb at chopping stuff,because of its blade configuration,enough said.

Ordered this blender a few months ago. Have to say it is brilliant. I use it for making health shakes. I don't like throwing out the fibre so this blender is perfect because it turns everything into cream. The last blender I had started smoking when I tried to blend broccoli (I add water too). Broccoli not a problem for this beast.
One drawback I would have is I broke the glass jug when putting it away and I can not get a replacement part. So looks like I have to order the whole thing again :(

Although this is a relatively expensive blender, (over £200), it is worth every penny.
It is built to a commercial standard, but unlike lots of commercial machines, it fits perfectly into the ordinary domestic kitchen. The graduated power switch is very useful and on full power will make mincemeat of anything you wish to blend. The large, 2Lt, capacity is more than enough for most requirments, great for soups and smoothies. The lid is made of a softish rubber which gives a tight secure fit, unlike some plastic lids that allow liquids to leak through whilst blending.
Cleaaning is easy, the glass jug just lifts off the base, take of the lid and the whole lot can be put straight into the dishwasher.
I would highly recommend this machine to anyone that wants a 'proper' blender that will last for years to come.

It's a beast!
This is a weighty bit of kit but it is powerful. I have made soup and it puree's very smooth, and the large jug means that the whole batch can be done at once. Read more

As good as Vitamix
I have owned several Vitamix blenders and have always sold them on and upgraded when a newer Vitamix product was released. Vitamix are very good but very expensive. Read more
