Review

'Readers unfamiliar with Schauberger will find this an excellent place to start... As one who is convinced that our attitude to nature must undergo a complete revolution, I regard the work of Schauberger as essential reading.' -- Scientific Medical Network Review, Winter 2009/10

Product Description

This is the second edition of a concise introduction to Schauberger's life and thinking. Viktor Schauberger's knowledge of natural energies led to inventions which, if properly harnessed, could solve the world's energy crisis. Unfortunately most people still find his ideas difficult to understand or accept. Jane Cobbald first became interested in Schauberger's theories when she realized that using a copper trowel in her garden greatly increased her potato harvest. In this book, she does not aim to provide a definitive explanation of his ideas. Instead, she takes a biographical approach and teases out the different strands of his thinking, presenting them in his own words. She shows how his approach developed over the course of his eventful life (which included both World Wars) and takes the reader on a journey through his discoveries, interspersed with lively anecdotes which illustrate how his mind worked. She asks the questions Schauberger asked. What energy do trouts use to stay almost motionless in fast-flowing mountain streams, or to climb waterfalls? How does a tall tree draw the water from its roots all the way to the top? Viktor Schauberger's insights into natural energies are here explained in a clear, unassuming and entertaining way. His remarkable inventions, the author argues, could be the much-needed solutions to our energy, transport and health issues. This book includes an exclusive interview with Ingeborg Schauberger, Viktor's daughter-in-law. The text has been fully revised and updated.

Water Genius 27 Oct 2009
Format:Paperback
Water is so much more than H2O ! Schauberger opens our eyes to many of it's qualities after a lifetime of observations. The book makes fascinating reading and is a challenge to those who are searching for alternative energy sources. For a good read there is plenty of skullduggery from the patronage of Hitler to the dealings of American corporations eager to capitalise on his ideas. Schauberger comes across as an early eco warrior and is referenced in numerous other books on the subject of water quality.

This was a great introduction! 26 Jun 2007

This man was so ahead of his time! He was innovative and original. Some of his ideas are hard to understand but this book makes it a bit easier by far! I hope someone carries out on his ideas. The world is changing and it's scary to think it might be too late to listen to this man's ideas and do something about them. He was a fantastic observer of Nature, we need more people who can do something in our time!

Future does not hold secrets 24 Mar 2012

The antibiotics, vaccines all sorts of child and mother care made the world a better place for the majority. The direct effect is increase of population from 3B to 7B within a century. But the living standards of well developed areas dropped sharply because of immigration and wealth sharing schemes.

So if you were a big city family on 1950 now you're not happy with what you have. But if you were a rural family migrated to a city within the last 3-4 decades now you're much happy that you think you did the right choice for leaving your small and poor village.

If you are one of the latter group, the problem is you can not see the bigger picture: The whole world is sinking with uncontrolled population expansion and wrong choice of technology. Span of life may seem extended but overall people are eating rubbish with GMO's, hormones, pesticides, synthetics that push agricultural and water resources to the limit. Uncurable long term problems of cancer are consuming funds of well developed as well as underdeveloped countries.

After 20-30 years this effect will be very significant for all people of the world no matter where they chose to live. Floods, warming, hurricanes, draught will take hold of the entire world sooner or later.

Schauberger observing and feeling the nature very closely predicted all this very precisely some 60 years ago. All his life he tried to convince the academics on the advantages of a better world technology that takes cooling and contraction instead of what we use the last 100 years - heating and expansion.

Please take a moment to forget about your social sharing handheld (that'a an expansion technology as well, that makes you forget why you are here, who you are) and read this book. One should take lessons and be aware at least for the coming generations. Quality of life is degrading year after year. All of us, all living creatures on Earth we are now on a rollercoaster of extinction. We should adopt in shortest time a new way of life
