5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read 3 April 2006
By A Customer
We read this to a class of ten year olds and they absolutely loved it. It is actually historically accurate to a high degree (the staff learnt things they didn't know before!). It is also very funny indeed and reads well when read aloud. The humour appeals to the children and to adults too - it is not too slap-stick and on occasions, laugh out loud funny. I would wholly recommend it to children between 10 and 15 and to adults too. A funny, education read - a rare thing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not what I was expecting! 26 Mar 2009
I thought this might be quite fun for my son. However, I found it much funnier than he did! It's actually laugh out loud funny, for adults! I know it's aimed at children, but I think it might be missing the audience that would really appreciate it! It had possibly too much history for my ten year old to take in, but I've learned something!
