Product Description

Product Description

This is Kerry Wilkinson's follow-up to the Amazon Kindle UK No.1 bestseller, Locked In.

Dead bodies are piling up for Detective Sergeant Jessica Daniel.

Usually when a serial killer is on the loose, the pressure would be building to find the perpetrator but the victims are all hardened criminals themselves.

The national media can't believe their luck with an apparent vigilante on the streets, while Jessica's new boss seems grateful someone else is doing their job for them.

But things aren't so straightforward when forensics matches blood from the apparent killer to a man already behind bars.

This is Book Two in the smash-hit series of Jessica Daniel novels, which have sold over 250,000 copies in the UK.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wilkinson has excelled himself..., 29 Aug 2011
This review is from: Vigilante (Jessica Daniel Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
In this second novel we find Jessica in quite a pickle. If her previous case wasn't complicated enough, this second dilemma will keep you reading into the early hours. Once again, Wilkinson makes the story so realistic you find yourself trying to help Jessica but more twists in the tale will leave readers perplexed. Dead bodies are piling up and Jessica seems to be the only one who cares. Our favourite detective is left with little to go on and once again, the Press are having a field day. Another exciting, yet thoroughly researched story. I read most of this in one sitting, it's THAT good. I'm hungry for more - can't wait for the next installment!

This review is from: Vigilante (Jessica Daniel Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
This is the 2nd book of the Jessica Daniel Series and lives up to the expectations of Kerry's literacy legacy. Jessica Daniel's personal life is explored more in this book and you begin to develop a deepening affection for Jessica in this book, similarly to other famous literary female detectives such as Thomas Harris' creation Special Agent Clarice Starling in the Hannibal trilogy. Like the first one, Kerry uses his excellent knowledge of police work and science to be able to develop a fascinating murder mystery and keeps you hanging up to the very end. Even the last page will leave readers in suspense! I cannot wait for book 3!
