Good monitor 19 April 2008

Brought this monitor at Staples in the UK for �129.99. Nice looking, no speakers built in which is a plus. Only supports VGA no DVI.

Works great on all my games. Use either 1280x720 or 1680x1050 where possible. NO ghosting or blurring while playing unreal 3 or COD4.

Recommended.

Not got top marks due to no DVI - I was forced to by a DVI to VGA converter.

Good simple monitor does what I want 29 Jan 2011

I bought this monitor (second hand) and I am very happy with it. It replaces a 17" 1280�1024 monitor, but which was just too small.

I am a software developer and part time lecturer and the large screen allows me to open pairs of documents & put them side by side at 100% and it also allows modern IDEs such as netbeans and VS10 to work better. So am not really using the monitor in a particularly demanding way

I have the monitor running off an ATI radion 5600 with a dvi to vga converter, the W7 experience index is 6.8 & the aero transitions look good on the monitor,

It compares well with the 23" Samsung Syncmaster running direct off DVI that I have at work, so well in fact that I can't tell the difference.

These seem to be good value at the moment & so far I would recommend the monitor to anyone who simply needs a reasonable amount of screen real-estate.
