Very Happy with quality of build, display is bright, colours vibrant and no dead pixels. Took only a little tinkering to get the display setup the way I like it. Worked effortlessly straight out of the box in both Windows and Linux. Handles Xbox360 Halo 3 and Fallout 3 Effortlessly with no artifacts or colour oddities.(via HDMI although cable is not supplied)
Plus Full HD 1920x1080 (1080p) VGA, DVI-D and HDMI connections. Pass through audio connector allowing connection of external speakers or Hi-Fi system. (3.5 Jack)
Minus Slightly tinny sounding speakers (even with SRS WOW PC software installed) Power light can be distracting due to its extreme brightness. No HDMI cable supplied.
Summary Excellent value when you consider features. Delivered by Amazon in 2 days with super saver despite a 2 week estimated lead time. I am extremely pleased with this purchase despite the minor drawbacks; I use an external speaker system anyway and the power light was taken care of with a small circle of black tape!
I have done a lot of research before buying this 22" LCD. I am using this with my PC (DVI) and Xbox 360 (HDMI). The product is as described by the manufacturer and performs above my expectations. I was using Samsung T200HD before this with some dead pixels. I rate this above my Samsung and the best part is that it is much cheaper.
I saw many good reviews for this product before buying it except one. He mentioned about pinkish shade (there is a youtube video too) when using 2ms response time that put me off a bit. I decided to take the risk and now I found what he was talking about. You see this problem when you use your monitor in HD mode with ultra (2ms) response time. Fortunately it is a configuration issue. You just need to set your Xbox 360 HDMI color space to HD to use the HD mode on the monitor.
Ordered this with Amazon using Super Saver delivery and it arrived in 2 days. If you are thinking about buying a 20-22" monitor for your Xbox 360 (or any other HD device) then stop thinking and order it. Don't forget to order your HDMI cable too.
The monitor arrived only a couple of days after ordering which I was pleased about. On unpacking it from its box the first thing I could say is that the monitor is very quite attractive, it has a feel of quality and stable build and the black coat finish is very nice.
Connecting it to the pc was a breeze using the DVI port, quick install of the drivers had my pc recognise it with no problems and simple set up with a resolution of 1920x1080 made viewing very pleasing. Such a decent resolution has meant I can see more on the screen which is perfect for my music studio software and makes life that little bit easier.
I use the HDMI port on it for my xbox360 and once again had no problems setting it up for that, the 360 found it and set up perfectly on it, VGA port also works great and although not used right now it is handly to have.
The image quality is nice and clear, colours are crisp and vibrant to, I found disabling the monitors "Dynamic Contrast" was best as I found it a tad annoying how it would make images darker and brighter with no real need and it was very noticable, so turned that feature off and thats sorted.
Some people may find the blue power light/button on the front distracting and annoying, it is quite bright really but I am used to it now and it doesn`t bother me anymore.
Overall for the money I do feel this is very good quality and since not many monitors of this size can do 1080p that makes it even better value. I certainly recomment this monitor.
