I got this CD yesterday at the Video Games Live concert in London and haven't stopped listening to it since. I am a classically trained musician and went to music college. I have to say that games music is so passionate and has been very underated in the past. Not now. This CD should appeal to anyone who is into video games but also to those who are maybe a little curious as to what the hype is about. You will be hooked after listening to this.

[I know VGL level 2 is out now, but let's pretend I wrote this review a couple of months ago]

It's amazing! Great orchestral recording of video game music. The hair stands up on the back of my neck when I listen to Halo, it's so very very good.

Buy it. I Can't wait to hear more from them!

What? VGA Level 2 is coming out. Wow. I've got to get that too, can't wait.

I bought my album at the VGL concert recently and absolutely love it, tommy talerico has done a great job transfering excellent video games music to a fully fledged show celebrating this. Even if video games music isn't for you i would still say this is a great CD with some lovely pieces.
