I have only tested with iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch with newer firmware and they are right it does not work - shame it did not say it on their web page!

Don't believe everything you read.
I bought one of these from an Amazon Site about 4-5 months ago and managed to lose it somewhere.
God, I could have screamed, when I recieved this one in the post. I bought it knowing I was going to spend 3-4 weeks in hospital and really looked forward to watching a few movies on their nice 'big screens'.
However, when I plugged this into my iTouch, I was greeted with the message, "This accessory is not optimised for use with this product.
I can't even remember who I got my original one from.
Beware of cheap immitations. You could get more (or less!!)than you bargained for.

i have i pod touch and thought this lead woud be a grate way of streaming iplayer from my i touch to the tv but alas it dont work not a happy bunny.

This item is billed as works with iPhone but when connect the iPhones says the device is not compatible so it is totally useless & will not work

If you dont have an ios device then this is for you (tested on a 160gb ipod and a 4th gen 16gb nano and both work great) the only thing is the cable its a bit short and the usb... Read more

if you want to waste your money buy this
brought this and looking forward to watching videos and to my annoyance didnt work not compatable didnt say on their advert that it isnt compatable with my iphone very dissapointed

Waste of money! I attempted to use this on my iPhone 3GS, iPad 2 and even on my cousins 4s. Nothing! You get what you pay for I guess!!
