this knife is the perfect size and shape for general paring duties, e.g. potatoes, apples, carrots etc. it is extremely sharp so take care. having said that, you are less likely to cut yourself with a sharp knife than a blunt one.

I've always sworn by Victorinox kitchen knives and this is as good as any I've used in the past. A strong stainless steel blade and razor-sharp cutting edge ensure effective use and longevity, while the black plastic handle has a good grip and is easily cleaned. Dishwasher-safe and very robust, this is the only paring-knife you'll ever need.

Great little knife,i already have one but I've searched high and low to get one for my brother before turning to amazon, he's well pleased after spending a fortune trying to get a decent one.

Sharp, but light

Brilliant all round knife
