Maglite Solitaire is made from precision machined high strength aircraft aluminium alloy which is water and shock resistant. The Maglite Solitaire features a high intensity beam that can be adjusted from spot to flood. A spare bulb is included in the tail cap. The flashlight converts quickly to a free standing candle mode. Included with the Maglite Solitaire is a AAA battery and a lanyard.

This gift set comprises of a Maglite Solitaire and a Victorinox Classic SD.

The Solitaire torch offers the same precision engineering found in every Maglite and uses only a single AAA alkaline battery. It has a high intensity adjustable beam - surprisingly bright for such a small flashlight typically less than an ounce and three inches in length. There is a spare bulb in the tailcap and a lanyard is also included in this gift set, making it ideal for a key chain or purse.

The Classic SD is extremely compact and convenient, with five useful tools in a keychain size knife.

I have been a fan of the Maglite brand for about ten years when I bought a mini Maglite which continues to serve me very well. The Solitaire in this set is the most compact torch Mag produce and is made to the same high standards as the rest of the range. Using a single AAA battery it provides a good beam you focus by twisting the cap.

Victorinox multi tools are fantastic quality. I have a Climber model already. I must admit that for me the main attraction is the quality of the product. They are a pleasure to own and use. The tool in this set has a narrow blade, scissors and nail file. It's very compact and ideal for keeping on your person. When you use Victorinox scissors you will wonder why most regular scissors are so awfully made, particularly if you are left handed.

Presented in a neat case with battery and torch lead, this is an excellent set that is an ideal introduction to these brands and will delight anybody who appreciates well designed and manufactured tools.

I got this for my girlfreind at christmas (not just this, don't judge me). Although she couldn't quite see the point of it at first (she thought it was going to be a nice diamond necklace as it said 'solitaire' on the box) I think she quite likes it now.

Personally I think it's a brilliant little piece of kit, sturdy and very useful to have on your keyring for all states of affairs, or to have in the glove box of a car. The scissors are just the right size for cutting eye holes in news papers so you can stalk people, and the torch is not only bright, but also discreet - perfect for breaking and entering a property.

On a serious note, I'd recommend it to 99% of people... the other 1% may take some convincing.

Bought as a gift, fantastic. Good size (small but not impossibly fiddley), fits nicely on a keyring without being too bulky. Good price for a good brand.
