Easy to use and strong joint.
Perfect if you share a car/have multiple vehicles and want to move your house keys between them.
I have 3 - 1 to go on my bike keys, and 1 to go on my car keys, 1 for my wifes car keys. I swap my house keys onto whatever I'm using at the time.
Or when I go out I just take my house keys off and leave vehicle keys at home.

Just bought this product because I had a crappy version made of light aluminium bought from a regular locksmith. I'm pretty sure this item I now have is the real thing.
Product is good as advertised. However, i don't really know if it's REALLY made by Victorinox though...even if it says "Swiss Made". Made of steel (instead of cheap aluminium)...great sturdy construction. Much heavier too...but hey, that's probably what quality is about ! Very happy of this purchase.

Whether its for keys or other accessories that have a key ring type attachment, if you have something you want to take off the main ring this is ideal.
Easy to detach but never seems to come apart accidentally.
I use it to attach a USB stick inside my laptop bag, so I always know where it is but can remove it easily when I need it.

Excellent Item
Great product, does exactly what it says. Strong connection so no worries about losing some keys. Great if you have some work keys and some personal.

unreliable
Awful, broke after 3 days, don't know when so lost my key that was attached to it a well. So now i have to get the lock changed too.
