I had the original Cybertool back in the early noughties and of all the gizmos I've owned, I can honestly say it has been in use almost daily (if not weekly) since I've had it. The screwdriver bits are worth their weight in gold - not just for IT work - but everyday things around the house/car/bike. Plus there's the quality blades, the best nail scissors you can find, an essential corkscrew (with mini screwdriver for your glasses), pen (aka comedy dipswitch prodder) and the pen still worked when needed 10 years on!, a random pin (or iPhone sim remover), superb tweezers and pliers (great for nose hair, er, I'm not getting on a bit) - and even a toothpick. There's also that the weird hook and pointy thing with a hole in it, which I've never understood, but hey, I've never been in the Swiss Army.
Anyway, despite a decade of carefully avoiding carrying it in hand luggage in aircraft, I carelessly swapped daypacks at the last minute while taking my girls to EuroDisney. The security detail in the Disneystapo spotted it and destroyed it. My wife spotted my distress and for my birthday, bought me this, the Cybertool Lite - and I'm delighted.
There's now a solid (and satisfying) clickback to the closing movement, the saw is now gone - but it was bit of a waste anyway, as it never went in a straight line and was too wide - but the essentials are still there. And don't forget the bright LED light and the magnifying glass, which I'm now forcing my girls to examine everything close up.
As my headline suggests, what was an essential item - of top quality - has now been improved. it's a bit chunkier, but whether you are camping, fixing your glasses, or just need an emergency screwdriver, light, or even eyebrow pluckers for your wife - this does it all, and in spades. Quality.

I bought this to replace my old Swiss Champ.
The light function is a really useful addition and the weak scissors (which broke) on the older models have been greatly strengthened.
It goes every where with me, buy one for yourself!

I've owned a few Victorinox tools in the past and thought this tool would be ideal to cover all situations that I may come a cross on an average day.

I didn't need a wood saw or metal file on this tool as these are items I don't use daily but having a good selection of screw bits was something that would be very handy. The Cybertool lite has all the usefulness of the Victorinox Explorer (probably the perfect small Victorinox tool) with the added extras of a small pair of pliers, selection of screw bits and small torch. I wouldn't want to rely on the torch as something to find my way around in the dark but is perfect if you drop something in a dark corner and need to find it.

This tool is perfect to keep handy and would highly recommend it to any one looking for a tool to cover most situations.

After owning a Swiss champ for 9 years and using it thousands of times (and its still going!) i decided to buy another victorinox, decided on this one because of the screwdriver/light feature, and I absolutely love it. As always the quality is second to none and these proper, original swiss army knives never seem to stop coming in useful in all situations. The screwdriver and heads with this particular model are very durable, with all major ends covered, as well as nearly all of the other useful features the champ has, this knife is awesome. Worth every penny

A well worth purchase at a great price from Amazon as always.. =)

Victorinox is the only true make of Swiss Army knife.
I have had at least four of these knifes, changing them simply because I wanted a different style or colour,
They have never let me down.
Highly recommend.

I decided to invest in a knife I could legally take to college instead of being at risk of being arrested for carrying around my leatherman, and in all honesty I am glad to have made this decision/ The selection of tools mean that almost any situation can be handled with ease. After buying this tool, I can now get away with leaving my gun kit or computer tool kit at home, making it much easier to travel without having to carry a large bag around at all times.

The knives are identical to those found on all other Victorinox tools, and whilst they can be slightly difficult to open, they are brilliant knives capable of any task, and the due to the tool having two knives, with careful management it is always possible to have a sharp knife when needed.

The scissors fit perfectly in the hand, and can be used to cut most material, although I wouldn't trust them on any large heavy duty items such as denim or ballistic nylon, however for everyday tasks they are one of the best pairs I've ever found on a multi tool of this size, although personally I would prefer to use the pair found on the Leatherman Juice XE6.

The pliers are surprisingly nice to use and are perfect for small tasks like taking off nuts and screws, however for anything larger than that I don't believe they will be able to handle the task, however I would much rather have a small set like these than not be able to fix a problem by not having any pair on me. The only way the pliers could be improved is if Victorinox were to design a tool similar to the Leatherman Juice.

The star of the Cybertool range has to be the bit driver, with three bits to choose from, with the option to buy a variety of other bits at a very reasonable cost.
