More About the Author

Julian Barnard wrote A Guide to the Bach Flower Remedies [C W Daniel] in 1978. It has been constantly in print since that date and has been published in nine or ten languages, selling more than 100,000.
He has written four other titles on Bach Flowers and is acknowledged as a world authority on the subject.
Healing Herbs of Edward Bach was published in 1988 and is been available in various language editions (French, Hungarian, Spanish and Japanese are currently in print). The English edition was out of print for a few years and the new edition Bach Flower Remedies - The Essence Within benefits from new photographs, a new layout and presentation.
Although a large number of books have been written on the subject of Bach flower remedies, particularly in German, this title remains the most authoritative text identifying the plants selected by Dr Bach and introducing the subject of plant gesture as a expression of the remedy's identity.
Julian Barnard has continued research in the subject with publication of Bach Flower Remedies Form & Function in 2002 and the production of videos illustrating the plants used in the Bach flower remedies, 2005-8.
