Ive been a fan of the Pistols/Sid for over twenty years now and i have acumulated a load of books on the Pistols and Sid and this book was a refreshing change.Over the years the same old stories seemed to be regurgitated over and over again but this book has a new approach.I like the way Sids mum gives her own oppinion as the story progresses, and theres rare photos and a new insight into how Nancy was murdered.Alan Parkers obviously a fan and if you are youll love this .Go on buy it!!!!!!

Though this book does proffer an alternative theory concerning the death of Nancy Spungen (Which cynics perhaps would say is merely a selling-tool) it does not otherwise tell us much that seasoned fans do not already have knowledge of, i have to say that i was quite disappointed and was expecting more, Malcolm Butt's Sid Vicious Rock n Roll Star is far better written and infinitely more compelling.
