Saw this product at an in-store at a bargain blowout (it was a buck), at first I was attracted to the price and then I read the ingredients which listed argan oil as the first one (the first ingredient tends to be the main/base ingredient!), so I didn't hesitate to buy it to test it out.
I was really surprised and beyond satisfied to see how well this works!
I wash my hair at night so at first used a very small amount in towel dried, wet hair, but used a lot more so my hair because I could not tell it was applied. In the morning, my hair looked great and felt so very soft and fine textured, a nice lived in "second day" look (that I don't usually get until my hair is officially dirty), however, it was a little stringy because I used too much product the night before. (That was remedied with some powdered dry shampoo though.)
The next night I used a lot less in wet hair--a little of this goes a long way. My hair was perfect in the morning. I don't have to flat iron or really blow dry frizzies in the morning anymore because every strand is smoothed and relaxed. No greasy effect and super soft. I received many compliments at work that my hair was growing longer and looked so thick and shiny, not the usual frizziness I have to deal with.
I'm asian and have fine hairs on the outside layers and coarse hairs underneath and I have super-thick hair, but my hair felt super-fine/soft to the touch and straight with texture as it did when I was a child.
I bought both the Olive Oil and Argan Oil versions and they work perfectly. I'm not going to settle for drug store brands that cost double or triple or the fancy salon brands that have only 1/3 of the power of this product when this works so perfectly.
The ingredients listed seem to be all natural! Maybe this is why it works so well: the first ingredient depending on which version you buy is argan/shea/olive/etc. oil, sunflower oil, canola oil, meadowfoam seed oil, carrot oil, moringa oil, wheat germ oil, vitamin A, vitamin d3, tocopherol acetate [which is the "ester" form of vitamin E which is resistant to oxidation thus extends the shelf life of the product], DL tocopherol (another form of vitamin E, a synthetic, probably has to to with product longevity), and fragrance.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who hasn't found the perfect hair serum/protector, I'm a beauty product junkie and have tried most drug store brands and many salon brands and this works at least equally well as salon brands and a million times better than watered down drug store serums.
