My wife just bought me this and I have to say i was a bit dissapointed. Its not a history of Vespa rather its a history of The Douglas Vespa company in the UK. There is a brief bit on the development of the original Vespa scooter at the start but the book mainly focuses on the UK and UK built models and doesn't really cover the development of the whole company elsewhere in Europe or the far east. Need to find a more comprehensive book on the subject, any ideas anybody?
