I have always wanted to try patchwork but been put off by the formality of the templates and patterns. This book caught my eye and fulfils all my needs. With very clear illustrated instructions and beautiful samples she has inspired me.
The only disappointment was the Resources section which gives webs for the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand but NOT the UK!
This is a very attractive book and includes projects which would make it a great gift for someone who likes to make gifts.. baby blanket, (baby)photo album cover, teddy bear, bags, pincushion, needle case. All the techniques and information you need is here so now all I need to do is collect some fabrics as fab as the one's she has used and I'm away.

I first got this book from the public library, and after renewing it as many times as was possible I decided it was a must have for anyone interested in patchwork.

This is a well illustrated book, with clear, helpful instructions. It doesn't have beautiful pictures with gorgeous items or interiors, but that's not its function. Also, many patchwork books are about large and often difficult quilts but this is useful for small or large pieces. I'd strongly recommend it for anyone who wants to get started.

I'm fairly new to patchwork and am constantly looking for ideas. This book gave me plenty. It's as the title says - Very easy crazy patchwork. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, with photos of each stage. I particularly liked the section on embroidery stitches, as it's over 40 years since I did embroidery and I could only remember chain stitch.
