This is about the most accurate compilation you can make of this flawed master. Look, the simple message here is, if you are the best, don't go messing it up with a load of jibberish like Mr Kane. You see, this was Kane's magical ability to make beautiful music, sharply followed by the wackest ?£$% ever. Great comp, simply ruined by the unnessesary inclusion of the ridiculous, mind numbing, embarassing, 'VERY SPECIAL' (which it is not). Swap this for 'Mr. Pitiful' and the studio version of 'Wrath of Kane' (omissions such as these can only have been inspired by the man himself) and ditch some more of the weak stuff and you've got something for any fledgling interested in 'old school' or just Hip Hop for that matter. For that requirement simply check 'Another Victory', 'Young Gifted and Black' and the unbeatable 'Ain't No Half Steppin'.
Enjoy fellow beat lovers...
The man at his best, was the best.
