A must for anyone who loves the current 'Mediterranean' influence within Arabic music! It brings back great memories of evenings in Egypt, sitting on friends' roofs, sipping karkadeh or mint tea and watching the sun go down over the Nile. A wonderful mix of Arabic percussion and sliding notes, guitar and Amr Diab's clear, soulful voice. Takes me straight back to Egypt!

If anyone would want to appreciate Arabic songs, he must start with Amr Diab. Anyone who would listen to him would fall in love with his voice, the melody and the pain that is contained in it. Listen to his songs and you will for sure be one of his fans. I am not much of an Arabic music person, but this guy I love him. EVEY PENNEY IS WORTH IT FOR THIS CD.

I bought this for my mother in law who was born in Palestine. She quite likes it but I much prefer Feiruz or Natcha Atlas.

Just love this guy,and his music evokes wonderful memories of my visits to Egypt.
