Good Sat-Nav at a very good price, 23 Aug 2009
This review is from: F&H 3.5" Version 3 Sat Nav UK Maps, Lane Nav, Postcode Search, TFT Touch Screen - MP3 & MP4 Player (Electronics)
I orded this "Navigo SatNav" thinking it was going to be quite basic. "ITS NOT", its a great little bit of kit. Well worth the price. It works well in my car, in fact it works better than my friends SatNav and he paid much more than me. I can also put my photos / videos and music on to it, its a full media centre.Comes with head phones so your able to hear the MP3 music and Video files in full stereo. The speaker on the unit is very loud and can be heard over the street noise and the car noise. Iv used it for a couple of days now, and its got me where I wanted to go each time. You could pay much more for a Sat-Nav but why would you want to do that. If you want a Sat-Nav only for the UK maps and a really good MP3/Photo/Video player this is it, at a very good price.

Value for Money, 13 Nov 2009
This review is from: F&H 3.5" Version 3 Sat Nav UK Maps, Lane Nav, Postcode Search, TFT Touch Screen - MP3 & MP4 Player (Electronics)
First of all, it's cheap - I mean half the price of the cheapest TomTom - and it works!
It doesn't seem to like powering on when the battery isn't at least half full, which led me to think it was broken, but a friend's TomTom is exactly the same ad the solution is to charge it up. The time and date are lost when you switch it off, but are restored as soon as you get a gps signal.
It is slow to acquire enough satellites to work out your position, but once it does, you're away!
The TutboDog software supplied is pretty basic, but does the job. Since these devices are basically pocket PCs running WindowsCE, you can load other sat nav software on them - and they run almost exactly the same! (A quick search of the internet will turn up loads of satnav 'modding' or 'hacking' sites with instructions how to do this, but there are legal issues, I imagine.)
Then there's the MP3/4 and picture features....well, hmmm, as a MP3 player it's a bit below par, with an unintuitive and terribly presented menu, but it works, so you CAN listen to music on it and the sound's ok. The video is problematic because the processors in these things are not very powerful and playback is unwatchably jerky, skipping frames to keep up with the soundtrack. Videos taken on mobile phones work very well. Bitmap and JPG images display ok, but not large ones - this is a tiny, low resolution screen remember.
Best thing is: this is a neat, slim unit that runs TomTom or whatever and is an ultra-cheap into to sat nav.
Worst thing is: battery life, which is rubbish #45 mins!) but just keep it plugged in with the cigarette-lighter charger and no problems.

Great Product, Great Price, 27 Oct 2009
This review is from: F&H 3.5" Version 3 Sat Nav UK Maps, Lane Nav, Postcode Search, TFT Touch Screen - MP3 & MP4 Player (Electronics)
i love this product, it was a great price for what you can do with it.
i have tomtom on it which works as if...it was a tomtom (you can also get navigon, igo8, miomap and others on it)
i'm a delivery driver and i need to be in and out the shop delivering to places i've never heard off and this helped me a lot.
not just good product for a low price.... you get more than your moneys worth.
only con is when you power it on, you'll need to wait atleast 2 minutes to get a signal. Not a long wait but if your a delivery driver, you'll find yourself sitting there for a signal until you can set off. won't be a problem for most people i guess.
very happy with this, and i've not even mentioned everything it can do.
