When this first floated through my letterbox I thought I'd been sent the wrong item. It looks just like an SD card. Barely the size of a rugby player's thumbnail I didn't believe that this could possibly be an 8Gb flash drive. Putting it in my laptop (and fearing it would get stuck forever) the usually sounds and pop ups appeared and lo and behold my fears were deleted. I immediatley began to drag and drop, music files, word documents, photographs, everything I could chuck at it, and it gobbled all items with gleeful ease. I tried it in another device and yes my files were safe and sound. So all the boxes are ticked.
Additionally it seems very durable and I haven't had any problems with losing information (nor have i had any such problems with any verbatime product so far). The purple looks pretty cool, although you'll have to squint to see it, and the password protection built in seems to worked fine. Cheap, fast, reliable, and easy to use this is the perfect addition to any collection of drives, and equally as good as a first purchase. The only problem is the lack of a case and the fact that we're all inevitably going to lose it under the sofa or though a hole in our pockets.
