LightScribe Direct Disc Labeling is a technology that offers consumers and businesses a simple, no-hassle way to burn professional, silkscreen-quality labels on their discs. Using the same laser that burns data in their disc drives, customers burn their data as always, flip the disc over, reinsert it into the drive and burn a precise and permanent iridescent label.
Product Description
LightScribe blank discs can be labelled using the appropriate writers (also works with images). After burning the disc, simply turn it over and burn the text and graphics onto the top side.

I have used these DVDs for a while and after burning more than 90 I haven't had a single one faulty.

I normally use DXD+R discs to record my own videos onto, but have had difficulties locating brands that I know are good and VERBATIM are GOOD. I also use LIGHTSCRIBE discs that make it harder to locate some. I have experianced no problems with these as I have with some makes, and I rate these 100%.

Lightscribe DVD's are a bit funny, they are one of those things that create a solution for a problem that doesn't really exist. The "labels" that are etched into the disc are quite cool, but at the same time very limited. They are great and do finish of a disc nicely, but they do add a bit of time and cost to the project. Still, not enough to stop me from buying them again.
In short I will buy these again when I run out, but I suspect they will last me a while as for most things I burn I will use a normal disc and write on it what I've put on there.

Excellent service - arrived withing a couple of days
Good quality discs. So far every one has recorded without any problems. Would like more colours to be available for Lightscribe DVDs

Very Good
Verbbatim discs I can't fault them, purchased 2 packs of 25 lightscribe discs and I have burnt over 30 and everyone so far has been faultless, including the lightscribe function... Read more
